コロナウィルスの影響による活動休止
1981年より世界中の先駆的な表現者たちと一緒に成長してきた「plan-B」。世界的に影響をもたらした、新型コロナウィルスの影響により、例に漏れずこの小さなスペースも被害を受けました。現在復興の見込みはいっさいたっておりません。再オープンに向けての制作業務全般の人員不足、また運営資金不足についても、さらなる問題を抱えている状況です。私たちは何度も何度も立ち止まりながら、それでもゆっくりとではございますが、再び活動ができる日を夢見て、スタッフ一同力を合わせその目標に向かい努力を続けております。発足当時から本質的な表現ができる「特別な場所」で有り続けるよう、頑張っていきたいと考えております。どうぞ皆様のご理解をお願い申し上げます。(plan-B スタッフ一同)

Suspension of Activities Due to the Impact of COVID-19
Since 1981, plan-B has grown together with pioneering artists and expressive practitioners from around the world. Due to the global impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, this small space was unfortunately not spared from its effects. At present, there is no clear prospect for recovery. We are also facing further challenges, including a shortage of personnel for production-related work toward reopening, as well as a lack of operating funds.
Although we have had to stop many times along the way, all of us on the staff continue to work together—slowly but steadily—while dreaming of the day we can resume our activities once again. From the time of our founding, we have aimed to remain a “special place” where essential and authentic forms of expression can exist, and we will continue striving toward that goal. We sincerely ask for your understanding.
